Where creativity supports emotional wellbeing
A safe space to express, explore and grow.

Sometimes the most important things are the hardest to say out loud. Art therapy offers a quieter way in. Through creative expression, whether that's drawing, painting, collage or sculpture, you can begin to explore feelings that have been difficult to name, let alone talk about.
Iām Catherine Noonan, a CORU Social Care Registered, a member of the Irish Association of Creative Arts Therapists (ICAT), and I hold a Masters in Art Therapy from Crawford College of Art and Design.
Based in Limerick, I work with children, young people and adults, both individually and in groups. You don't need to be creative. You don't need any experience. You just need to show up.

It's not an art class.
You don't have to be creative. You don't have to be good at art. Art therapy works by using simple art-making, drawing, painting, collage, whatever feels right, as a way to explore and express feelings that words sometimes can't quite reach. For many people, it's a genuinely helpful way to work through anxiety, life transitions and emotional overwhelm.
Creative therapy for anxiety, stress and difficult life experiences can help you express your feelings without needing to find the words. The art becomes a conversation between you and your feelings, with me there to guide the process.

Art therapy gives children and young people a safe, creative space to express what they're carrying. As an art therapist for children in Limerick, I work with young people from age 5 upwards.
Art therapy for adults offers a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore anxiety, stress, life changes or anything else you've been struggling to sit with.
There's something quietly powerful about making art alongside others who understand. I run small group sessions, including a Women's Wellbeing Group, where connection and creativity go hand in hand.
It starts with a simple conversation. Catherine offers an initial 30-minute consultation at the studio, so you can get a feel for the space, ask any questions you have, and talk through what you're hoping for. No pressure, no commitment.
